Kat & Joel came to me as Melbourne went into another lockdown and explained that their photographer was no longer able to do their wedding.
I was dealing with a few date changes to other weddings but the date they wanted was free and so we cautiously went ahead with plans for their big day. In the end, we had to split their day up between a ceremony and a reception purely because of restrictions around dancing at weddings. Dancing makes for a much better wedding video so splitting things up was the best option.
So, Rob was on video and I was on stills and off we went to cover their day from getting ready in the morning through to their portrait session.
Here's what we came up with and here's what they had to say once they looked through everything.
"Matt,
Holy freaking moly!
I think we've finally picked ourselves up off the floor. Thankyou for such an emotional trip. Wowser. You are incredible. These photos are so perfect and priceless. And my goodness, that video. So much suspense. We love how you've depicted us perfectly. You see us. Thankyou.
We cannot wait to share this with our nearest and dearest. And of course to hang out with you all over again in 10 days! What a treat.
Thankyou thankyou thankyou 💜"
