I’ve been highly unmotivated this week which is understandable but very uncomfortable. Knowing I don’t get a lot done because of homeschooling is a big reason but another is the lack of deadlines with editing as well as prepping for the next wedding. I’ve still got work on my plate but nothing like the usual.
Next week I don’t have the kids so I get free rein to get stuck into my work again. But then the fear is that I’ll sink back into an unexciting existence and trawl through Amazon for shit I don’t need.
In an attempt to spring into next week, fully motivated, I spent a couple of hours filming a sequence. I’ve been immersed in cinema lately, watching filmmakers create seamless transitions. I thought I’d create one at home and get some experience.
This little one will be part of a larger project that I’ve been chipping away at with the boys through the pandemic as we document the homeschooling experience. Sequences take a bit of patience and planning but they’re enjoyable to create.
