When your nearest and dearest can't attend your wedding
We can take a detour to visit them
During our planning session to go over the details for their wedding, Emma mentioned that they will be starting their day by visiting Lars' Father in Albert Park who isn't well enough to attend their wedding. The other part to this story is that Emma & Lars live in Sweden, a long way home to Australia.
It dawned on me that here was an opportunity to create some memories for Lars and his family. We worked on a little plan for me to spend 5 minutes with them to capture a snippet of their afternoon before the ceremony.
Their house in Albert had amazing light coming from an atrium. We gathered round and in less than a few minutes, I had snapped 20 to 30 candid images of the moments Dad wished his son the best for his wedding day.
So if a family member can't make it, we can take the opportunity and go to them.
